This is my great granddaughter.  My daughter was in the delivery room with her daughter-in-law, and snapped this on her phone and sent it to me.  Haeli got her first view of the outside world and wan't sure she liked it!

Susan, that's how I first found out my granddaughter was born too- my son-in-law snapped a picture at delivery on his phone and texted it to us all.  What did we ever do before cells.  She's beautiful and what a lovely name.  BTW, you may look great but you don't look old enough to be a great grandmother!

Leah - I don't think I am old enough, but what can I do? I had my kids young and so did mine. I remember that my great grandma was a tiny little shrunken white-haired lady when I was very little.  That's not me, but I am very happy to have my kids, grandkids and great grandkids.  And unless I think about it, I don't feel old.  They keep me young!

The miracles of modern technology meet up with God's greatest miracle, Susan.  You don't look old enough to be a great-grandmother for goodness sakes!  Congratulations!

GREAT Grandmother???  Wow!  Yes I remember my great grandmother also with her funny black shoes sewing away on her old sewing machine.  You look nothing like her.  Enjoy.

Thank you everyone for the boosts to my ego.  I guess I do look a bit younger than my age, which gripes some of my friends.  I don't wear glasses and my hair color is still natural, and those things probably make me seem younger than my actual years.  But then except for a few aches and pains, I still feel young and live young, so maybe that has something to do with it too.

Anyway, thank you all for your congratualtions on Haeli and for your compliments to me.
